Mini-League Final Competition-Castlemilk

The final round of the mini-league competition took place on Saturday 22nd May at Castlemilk Swimming Pool. As it happened, this coincided with the first day of sweltering summer temperatures. Whilst the Inverclyde team were competing at the fourth and final event of the competition, Glasgow’s South Side was baking in the high 70’s℉. As in the earlier rounds, they performed alongside some of Glasgow’s best young swimmers with great enthusiasm and credit to the club. Paul Grant, the IASC Club President and Kevin Adams, Head Coach were poolside. Members of the coaching team, Alison and Andrew Hemphill and Aidan Grant came to support the youngsters. Also in attendance were several of the club swimmers’ parents, trying to ensure the other competing teams superior numbers traveling support weren’t allowed to drown out the opposition! They competed against Kilmarnock and City of Glasgow, two of the very strongest local clubs.

Table of Results

City of Glasgow 198
Kilmarnock 135
Inverclyde 101

It has been apparent throughout every stage of the Mini-League Competition that our club has some very talented youngsters who will progress on to representing IASC at senior level. There’s a really good squad atmosphere which is encouraged by the coaching staff. “Swimming is a sport for individual athletes to express themselves, but training can be a relentless solitary pursuit if you don’t have really good team back up and friends to train alongside.” said Kevin Adams after the event was completed. He went on to say, “ When I joined the club as head coach just over a year ago, I’ve tried to build up a squad mentality as well as ensuring that all our swimmers have really sound technical skills. This can’t happen overnight, it has to be developed over time and the coaches know what our priorities are.”
Both in the medley and individual events there were some outstanding performances. Many of our team really pushed themselves in their races, there being twelve PB’s. The full team on the day was:

Girls Boys
Katrina Miller Tommy Scott
Olivia Saddler James Duncan
Luisa Devine Adam James
Lauren Grant Robert Peterson
Lauren MacLeay Rhys Lappin
Ellie Mitchell Craig Horn
Anna Kane

Emily Matlock
Ross McMath
Catherine Martin

Outstanding Performances and Lessons Learnt

Katrina Miller won the 25m Front Crawl whilst Tommy Scott won both the 25m breaststroke and back crawl in excellent times. Tommy explained his favourite part of the competition, “ It really makes you go all out when the Head Coach and all your team mates are shouting you on.” He went on to say, “I’m moving onto the transition squad in the next few weeks and I’m looking forward to some hard training at The Waterfront. It’s always good fun training with the club, and the coaches are great!”

Finishing on the subject of squad development, Kevin said, “Getting experience amongst the best squads in the West of Scotland is tough, because you realize just what other swimmers of similar age groups are achieving. Everyone has to dig deep from today’s results, realize that training hard is essential to progress at this level.... but it’s worth it!”

What are the lessons learnt from today’s meet? Alison Hemphill agreed that the teams performance in getting over 100 points was a significant landmark. “We have been working with the squad on diving and start techniques. That’s one of the benefits of attending the Waterfront on the last Sunday each month. Other teams seem to have been concentrating on this area. Race starts were picked up on during earlier events and we’ve focused on this by getting the team familiar with entry blocks. We would also benefit from finishing flags installed at Port Glasgow to ensure the team always finish strongly.”

She finished by stressing again that all swimming clubs need to focus on detail. “Talking to other club coaches you find that they make a competitive spirit an integral part of their training program. They provide all the support required to ensure their swimmers push themselves to better performance, irrespective of their entry level. We need to do the same to encourage our club up the West of Scotland merit ladder.”

Junior Club Chant

In addition to all these new targets, we need to EvoStik some of our swimmers goggles on to their swim caps! Four team members lost their equipment during races, making a competitive time impossible. Our club was the only group not to have a Squad Chant to finish on after the event finished. Please come up with a Dizzy Rascal Rap, Robbie Williams inspired lyric or anything that can be chanted out at future club meets! Those chants from other clubs are tame and predictable affairs.... we need ours to be something a bit special... and catchy too!

Remember the club’s swimmers always welcome your support and encouragement.

Types of Meets

A) Open meets
Many clubs, hold open meets during the season. Age groups for these meets are usually from 11 years and upwards. A swimmers age is normally taken as the age on day of meet. The Clubs hosting the meet will normally publish consideration times for all events in each age group, and IASC will submit entries for swimmers based on the swimmers personal best times (PBs). The coaches have the final say as to which swimmers should be entered for any particular events, and may decide that, in certain circumstances, an entry may not be beneficial for a particular swimmer.

B)Mini Meets
These are similar to Open Meets, but are for swimmers in the younger age groups, often from 8 and under to 12 years. Age groups for these meets are often based on 'age on the day',

C)Graded Meets
These are meets, used to encourage swimmers of moderate ability, by ensuring that the standards of entry are similar. This is achieved by publishing time bands - swimmers entered must achieve times between the published maximum and minimum times for each event. Any entrant who swims more than 5% faster than the minimum time will be disqualified.

D)Development Meets
These could be run in the same way as graded meets, but are generally to help swimmers improve in a competitive situation.

Entries

The Club receives details of meets from other clubs and the coaches will decide whether the Club will attend. Entry forms and gala details are issued to each swimmer to be returned to gala secretary by a specific date. . The host club will accept not all entries submitted. Accepted entries will be posted to swimmer and put on the notice boards. It can take up to three or four weeks for this information to get back to the Club.

Entry Fees

For most invitational galas the entry fee is currently between £3.50 and £5.00 per swim. It could cost up to £20.00 if a swimmer is accepted for four events at a meet. The treasurer or the should be paid before the meet. It is very important that anyone not available for a meet should inform the secretary as soon as possible.

Age

Mostly a Swimmers age is taken as the age on the day of the meet

Personal Best times

A list of all swimmers current PB's is maintained and updated during the season, using times recorded at meets in which the club participates. Swimmers and parents should be aware of these times and discuss any discrepancies with the records convenor.

Consideration Time

This is the maximum time for an event that will be considered by the organisers of a gala. However, achieving the consideration time does not guarantee acceptance of the entry. The number and quality of other entries will determine this.

West District Age Group Championships

These are held over several weekends between March and May at various pools in the District - usually Ayr, Bellshill, Larkhall and Cumbernauld. The organisation of the Championships may vary from year to year. The Club makes entries for all swimmers making the consideration times for each event. consideration times for that event. For the distance events the number of accepted entries may be reduced. The fastest 36 entries for each event will be accepted direct to the Championships, so swimmers who have made consideration times may not have their entries accepted. The Championship rules may change from year to year, as above. Swimmers should watch the notice boards for published consideration times. If they wish to ensure that they are entered (or not entered!) for a particular event, they should discuss it with their coach. Otherwise, the Club will make entries based on the coach's estimate of the swimmers abilities. The entry fees for the championships are normally £3.50 per event. If a swimmer is not on poolside when the 'posting box' for entries closes, his/her entry card will not be posted. If a card is posted and the swimmer does not swim, the Club is fined £10.00 and this fine will be passed on to the swimmer. The club is also fined if a swimmer does not make the consideration time in his/her event, but the Club pays this since the coaches are responsible for the entries.

Scottish Age Group Championship

This is normally swum over four days, from the last Thursday in June. It is a long course meet and age groups are from 12 years to Open (16 and over). Consideration times are published at the end of the preceding calendar year. Achieving these times should be the goal of every swimmer, but the times are hard and 'qualifying for the Scottish' is an achievement in itself. Please note that adjustments have to be made to times swum in 25 metre pools to give long course equivalent times. This is done using tables, and the long course times are slightly slower. The Club pays part of all Scottish entry fees. The Club does not normally organise transport to any of the above invitation/individual meets.

League Galas

There are two leagues, the Clyde Coast Winter League and Mini League. The Club enters teams in each of these leagues each year. The leagues are of varying standard and cover an assortment of age groups. Team selection is based on the standard required for each league. Most swimmers from Top squad and/or transitional as well as some from Skills Development Squads will be selected for at least one team during the year. Each league team will normally swim four matches in a season, one home and three away. Team selection, and venue will be posted on notice boards for each meet, as will the results. For home matches parents are asked to provide cakes and sandwiches for the parents, officials and coaches of visiting clubs. Swimmers are served juice and crisps, provided by the Club. A bus is provided for away matches. Swimmers are encouraged to use the bus, so that they travel and arrive as a team. Parents are welcome to travel on all buses provided by the Club. If a swimmer fails to notify his/her coach that they will not attend a league match he/she will be fined £5.00. If this occurs frequently, he/she will not be allowed to swim for the Club.

Club Championships

These are normally held over the months of October November and December, and are open to all squad swimmers. Events are 'heat declared winner'.

Building on the earlier meet in our own pool, the Inverclyde club’s swimmers continue to produce really good individual performances, and also pull out the stops for each other. “ I like the way our squad show team spirit, supporting each other all the way,” remarked Kevin Adams our head coach, after the last race.

“The lessons they’re learning with each competitive meet will help them when they move on to transition, and youth level. That’s where it all starts to come together. Some of these guys will definitely be representing the club and swimming in the elite Top Squad in a few years time.”

He reflected on the changes seen in the club over the last few months. “The Port Glasgow coaches are very happy with the way the junior club members are progressing, after all they’re going to be the club’s future.”

Special mention on the day’s outstanding individual performance goes to Katrina Miller who won the girls 8 & under 25m breast stroke in a good time. Katrina, along with many of the squad who picked up 2nd and 3rd places, helped the club, almost reached its target of 100 points for the meet.

Katrina summed up her feelings of the day’s racing, “I’m getting a bit better at each of my strokes by doing drills.” She went on to comment on her training sessions with IASC, telling us, “it’s great training at Port Glasgow with my coaches, and taking part in the front crawl relay race with the rest of my team.”

Katrina ended by explaining that her favourite stroke was the breaststroke, as of all the mandatory strokes it came easiest to her. So, what are the coaches planning on next, following the last two successful competitions?

“The main area we’ll be working on are the start and finishing of races,” commented Allison Hemphill, after completing Saturday morning’s session at Port Glasgow. “A few of the squad lost time at these critical stages, and we need to sort out this aspect of racing before the final Mini-League meet next month. It’s on the list of must-do’s for tomorrow night’s extra session at The Waterfront.”

The Committee have arranged for a regular extra monthly session for the club’s members.

Allison went on to explain, “I think having extra pool time in Greenock, the last Sunday every month 6-7pm, is a great idea. It will allow the coaches to focus on diving and finishing techniques, which the Port Glasgow pool doesn’t lend itself to. At present we don’t have start blocks or finishing flag markers, which limits our coaching capacity.”

The final mini-league event will be hosted by City of Glasgow on the weekend of 22nd and 23rd May, the hosts have not confirmed which venue will be used. Let’s hope the squad reach their total of 100 points, and continue to represent the club with distinction.

Squad Chant - Rappers Input Required

Any suggestions from the younger club members for an IASC chant would be received with enthusiasm and interest. We need to create a short chant for the kids to use to start and finish competitive race meets. Any budding musicians, poets or rappers please get your creative edge working, and give us a great club chant to galvanize our swimmers.

To get you started, here’s a couple of possible ideas. There’s a great prize for the lucky winner by the way, and you won’t have to perform your creation in public, or on your own. Unless of course you want to....

We’re gonna swim
We’re gonna glide
We’re gonna fly...
For In- ver- clyde!
or
We will win
With our pride
We will swim...
For In- ver- clyde!

Background music is optional.... over to you... show us what talent you’ve got!

SWiMMING: Clyde Coast Mini-League Swim Meet
09/03/2010

INVERCLYDE Amateur Swimming Club (IASC) hosted the first swim meeting of the year on Sunday to allow some of the developing young swimmers get the taste for competition.
For so many of those aged 8 to 11-years this was the first time they got to handle competing with others outside their club; the chance to find out how much their training was pushing their performance forwards. Many of the club members had their first experience of competition nerves, sensing the atmosphere at the Waterfront in front of a very boisterous support from friends and family, cheering them on.

Competing in the event were Milngavie and Bearsden, South Ayrshire, and Scotia Swimming Clubs and all brought a big support, which ensured the excitement level at poolside was fantastic. The club’s swimmers competed exceptionally well against what proved to be the anticipated strong opposition from all the other clubs.

Head coach of IASC, Kevin Adams, commented: “One of the areas we’re emphasizing is that all the club’s members are being coached for fitness, and for pushing themselves against the clock. The only way that swimmers improve their swim times is through improved stamina training and technique.” He added: "All our club coaches are focused on these two key issues, and today the results show we are beginning to see the benefits through all the personal bests, recorded this afternoon.”

Coaches for the junior members, including Archie Adams, Marion Wardell, Alison and Claire Hemphill, all felt that special praise was due to some of the younger swimmers, who put in very strong performances. Alison said: “The nine and under boys did really well by winning the 4x25m medley relay in a fast time. Adam James, Robert Paterson, Calvin Wardell and Tommy Scott all show some of the talent needed to represent the club and win over the next few years.

“Also worthy of mention for winning their races, and gaining personal best times in doing so were Katrina Miller who won her eight and under 25m breaststroke event, and Tommy Scott who won both the eight and under 25m freestyle and 25m backstroke in very fast times.”

"Club members who achieved personal best times included Olivia Sandler, Rhys Lappin, Ellie Mitchell, Iona Miller, and Ross McMath, and all should take a lot of satisfaction from the day’s results."

Marion felt that time spent preparing, by centring on the race start; diving off the blocks; water entry and racing technique; had been valuable. All Junior coaching staff felt that there had been a definite improvement in club performance in the last year or so, but that due to the high standards in Regional club swimming, there is a need to maintain a high level of coaching organization to keep the club’s swimmers in the top tier, where Inverclyde has traditionally been in the past.

The next area to work before the forthcoming competition (at Rutherglen at the end of March), will be in developing tumble turns at speed in all strokes. The final points tally for the day’s events was: Bearsden & Milngavie 153; South Ayrshire 143; Inverclyde 97; Scotia 86

These results clearly show an improved club performance compared with last year’s fixture. The club needs to continue to encourage a strong support from parents living in Inverclyde. New members are always needed to provide raw talent for the club to help develop into swimmers who can compete at the highest level, if they are prepared to commit themselves to regular training.

After the competition, all the competitors and their support were treated to a buffet of freshly-made sandwiches, chocolate crispies and other delicious finger food, together with refreshments provided generously by the parents of all the competing IASC’s members. The club thank Annie Miller and all those who helped her by providing post-competition hospitality for visitors.

The committee also thank some of the senior club swimmers who gave up their Sunday afternoon to help ensure the races ran smoothly and assisted the race officials with organizational duties. These include Aimee Young, Laura Mearns, Laura Atkinson, Katie Scott, Aidan Grant and Jill Turner.

Competitive Training Sessions at IASC

There have been a number of changes to the club’s training programme over the last year or so to ensure it follows the other elite clubs in Scotland in producing swim talent. The swimmers train in a friendly and competitive club where the balance between fun and fitness plays a big part. Underpinning this ethic is the need to encourage members to push themselves further, to train as hard as they can, but equally to enjoy the experience of being part of a club which trains members from novice to top squad levels.

Kevin Adams said: “IASC puts a great effort into teaching really good stroke technique from the very first training session. This continues through the Junior and Transition ranks to the Top Squad, where time is allocated doing one-on-one tutoring sessions with individual swimmers.

“We can provide the motivation to helping swimmers improve whatever level they choose, but we insist that they always set their goals high to begin with!”

Round Two of the Clyde Coast mini league will hosted by Rutherglen Swimming Club, and will be held at Whitehill Pool, Onslow Drive, Dennistoun, Glasgow on Sunday 21 March..

Warm Up

Just a quick reminder from the coaches that swimmers should be at the pool side 10 mins prior to their session to warm up. It is important to warm up prior to swimming to minimise injuries. The only exception to this is Port Glasgow Saturday morning session when the pool opens for us at 9am and the coaches request that swimmers arrive by 9am and change as quickly as possible.

Club Presentation Night Port Glasgow Town Hall

A great Night was had by all

THE annual club championship event for Inverclyde Amateur Swimming Club (IASC) took place at The Waterfront.

In a packed venue at full capacity many of the youngsters, ranging from seven to 16-year-olds, achieved personal best times and broke several records. The head swimming coach, Kevin Adams was delighted with the performance from the young athletes.

He said: “These yearly championships are the first time many of these swimmers have competed in a racing atmosphere and the excitement that goes with it. Eighty-eight club members have spent the weekend stretching their limits and enjoying competing with each other. They learn to push themselves physically and enjoy the experience. I’m proud of them, and think their friends and families attending and cheering them on, really enjoyed the entire event and are also proud of their efforts.

“Every one of our club’s swimmers should be encouraged by their performance.”

Special mention goes to a few of the swimmers who performed at their personal peak. These included Cory Mitchell, Robbie Elder, Shannon Rennie, Katie Scott, Anita Percival and Joy Logan who were voted as being the most improved swimmers within the club.

Those members all received awards at the Awards Presentation dinner held on Saturday 23rd January along with medals winners in all events. In addition to Provost Michael McCormick, Joe Phillips, Chairman of Inverclyde Leisure Trust attended the event at Port Glasgow Town Hall.

Archie Adams, the club’s veteran coach presented the older swimmers with Recognition Certificates. Paul Grant, club president, presented Duke of Edinburgh awards to Aimee Young, Laura Mearns and Jamie Purdie.

Age group champions in the club were, for the girls; Katrina Miller, Luisa Devine, Lauren Grant, Iona Miller, Lisa Ingram, Laura Atkinson, Katie Scott, Claire McGachy and Shannon Jackson.

The boys’ section included Calvin Wardell, Craig Horn, Martin Tegg, Ross McMath, Scott Rush, Enrico Mazzoni and Andrew Hemphill.

The individual Club Champion’s Award which is decided by total racing results over the entire competition, went deservedly to Clare McGachy and Andrew Hemphill who both showed just how to put together a series of great competitive swims.

The club thank its committee for all its hard work throughout the year. They also recognise the coaching staff who are trying to get the most out of the club’s members at all levels.

After the presentation events were over, the club’s guests and members enjoyed a meal prepared by First Choice caterers, and danced to great music provided by DJ Ryan Black.

For those parents who have children interested in finding out more on what swim training can offer young and budding talent,

sportscotland goes to great lengths for Scottish Swimming
Tuesday 8 December 2009

As Scottish Swimming launched its updated Corporate Plan, sportscotland demonstrated its own commitment to the future development of the sport by announcing an annual investment of over £1.3 million for 2009/10.

Today’s announcement, of which £751,000 is sportscotland funding from the Scottish Government and £580,242 is from the sportscotland lottery fund, represents the largest ever single investment in a Scottish Governing Body (SGB).

Announcing the funding Louise Martin CBE, Chair of sportscotland said: “Our investment of £1,331,242 will support Scottish Swimming in delivering against its objectives in its revised Corporate Plan. The funding will be used to continue the development and innovation that has seen swimming become one of Scotland’s most successful sports in recent times.

“As a former competitive swimmer myself I can fully appreciate the benefits that the sport brings as part of a healthy, active lifestyle. I am delighted that our investment will enable many more Scots to experience the benefits for themselves.”

Minister for Public Health and Sport Shona Robison said: “This investment of £751,000 highlights the importance we place on swimming which is one of the top participation sports in Scotland. It is second only to walking for adults and ranks third after football and cycling for children.

“This, alongside the recent announcement of £5.5 million for the development of swimming pools and facilities in Fife and Tayside and our £5 million commitment towards a new 50m pool in Aberdeen, demonstrates this Government’s commitment to Scottish Swimming which will help us to increase participation, improve performance and deliver a lasting legacy from the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.”

Scottish Swimming has set challenging targets in all areas of its business from increasing participation amongst school children to delivering medals for Scotland at the highest level.

The headline targets in the updated Corporate Plan not only deliver against sportscotland’s seven priority areas but also contribute to the Scottish Government’s strategic objectives in Scotland Performs. While high performance remains a key driver for Scottish Swimming there is also recognition that not everyone can, or wants to be a competitive swimmer so a number of targets have been set to encourage people to continue within the sport, irrespective of their abilities.

Scottish Swimming has adopted a regional approach to deliver swimming through its key partners, including local authorities and schools, to provide more opportunities for people to enjoy life long participation. This complements sportscotland’s move towards a regional and community focus, building on existing networks, facilities and expertise to create more and better access to sport at a local level across Scotland.

Welcoming the investment, Ashley Howard, Chief Executive Officer of Scottish Swimming said: "This year’s investment from sportscotland demonstrates tremendous confidence in our governing body as we develop our infrastructure and challenge ourselves to deliver a world class swimmer pathway and outstanding results in Glasgow in 2014. The support is critical for the pathway in its entirety with new investment targeted to the implementation of our regional swimming development manager model, bringing governing body support closer to our clubs, swim schools and local authorities and other pool providers.

As we launch our updated Corporate Plan and our Facilities Strategy & Pool Management and Programming Guide, confirmation of our investment marks an exciting time in the sport with our Healthy Living strand now on stream, growth in our education strand, and support for more full time paid coaches on the ground than ever before.

“By delivering against our ambitious plans for each step in the swimmer pathway, Scottish Swimming, with the continued support of sportscotland, can build on our outstanding performance to date and make our vision – everyone can swim - a reality.”

In 2008/09 sportscotland invested over £14.5 million in 49 sports governing bodies.
This year’s investment of £1,331,242 is made up of £751,000 sportscotland funding from the Scottish Government and £580,242 from the sportscotland lottery fund.
Last year Scottish Swimming received an investment of £1,218,500.
The increase includes realignment of investment previously directed to High Performance swimming within Scottish Disability Sport and UKCC costs.
Sportscotland’s seven priority areas are: Active Schools, Quality Facilities, Coaching, Community Sport, Performance Development, Strong Partners and Strong sportscotland.

Inverclyde Amateur Swimming Club at Hamilton Graded Meet

The gala season continued for Inverclyde Amateur Swimming Club (IASC) when they competed in the Hamilton Baths Graded Meet at Larkhall Leisure Centre on Saturday 11th October. Swimmers aged between 8 and 15 took part, with all putting in fine swims resulting in medal wins and many finishing well ahead of their seed times.

Ewen Purdie performed well in the 100m free, 100m back, 50 free, 100 free and 100m butterfly, gaining 10th, 17th, 17th and 20th positions respectively and an impressive silver medal in the 100m butterfly.

Laura Atkinson took part in the 100m free, 100m butterfly, 50m free 100m breaststroke achieving positions of 16th, 13th, 6th and a healthy 4th respectively, and swam almost 5 seconds faster than her seed time in the 100m back.

Clare McGachy swam strongly to gold in the 100m free and 100m butterfly, bronze in the 100m breaststroke, and, swimming narrowly inside her seed time in the 50m free, swam “too fast” for a position.

Jamie Purdie finished in 9th place in the 100m back, 4th in the 100m butterfly, swam too fast by less than half a second in the 50m free, then won a fantastic gold in the 100m breaststroke.

It was the number 17 all round for Emily Weir who competed in the 100m butterfly and 50m free where she finished 17th in both events, and in the 100m breaststroke swam a massive 17 seconds faster than her seed time.

Aidan Grant's single event of the meet was the 100m butterfly in which he swam impressively finishing in 17th place.

Fiona Mallinson 100m free where she finished in 17th position, and in the 50m free she equalled her seed time.

Katie Scott swam in two events: the 100m free and 50m free, putting in fine swims to finish in 22nd and 14th places respectively.

Many thanks go to the coaches and parents who provided support and transport on the day.

Request for Help

Dear Parents of IASC Swimmers,

In an effort to continue improving our communication, whilst simplifying the administrative side of our swimming club, I’d like to recruit voluntary assistance in the form of “Squad Admins”.

What this would entail would be ….

· The support of one, or even 2, parents whom are generally in attendance at the pool when their child is swimming.

· If possible, attend the session 10 minutes before the start of the session (coincides to the time the young swimmer arrives before the start of the session).

· Liason with parents at each session, ensure parents know who you are.

· Collect membership forms / payments when due (approx once a year).

· Advise parents of any up and coming events, ie PGL, club championship, etc.

· Provide a “friendly face” (in addition to the coach) should any new / interested parties come along to enquire about IASC.

· Be the “eyes and ears” of the session, and feedback any questions or concerns to the committee from parents.

· Liason on “up and coming” meets.

· Squad “fund raiser”. Support fund raising efforts.

· Have contact details for coach, committee and back-up Squad Admin.

Of course, we would require a Squad Admin for each of our squads….and if response is good enough, even maybe a “back-up Squad Admin”.

· Introduction to the Club

· Skill Development

· Transitional

· Top Squad

· Skill Development Port Glasgow has already one volunteer parent

I would imagine I would be in reqular contact with the “Squad Admins” to provide them with updates, and to address their returning items. It’s not envisaged that this would take up too much time for a parent.

It would be much appreciated if all parents could consider this request. It’s only with the support of our valued parents that we the committee can continue to build on our improvements….to benefit the young swimmers.

Many thanks to consider, and please return your responses to myself at… angela.grant@hp.com

Thanks and regards,

Angela Grant
Secretary, and Membership Admin
