Bronze Coast Squad - Squad's Structure,
Goal – skill and aerobic development
Coaching Objectives
• Aerobic development
• Build strength development
• Core stability work
• Refinement of specific skills
• Hydration and nutrition awareness
• Introduce race tactics
• Goal setting
• Involvement in their training plan
Sessions Minimum 3-4 per week
Criteria
• Be able to swim 4 strokes very competently over 100 metres
• Demonstrate correct turns on all 4 strokes
• Swim 400 metres continuously with correct turns
• Compete for club if selected for a team event
• Consistently do the minimum required sessions
Final decision on squad moves is at the discretion of the coach
